Some people teach that God sends sickness to discipline His children, but this is not true. The nature of our God is all loving, good and compassionate. Everyone who is good cannot bear to see people suffer or in pain, then how much more it is with our Father God who gave us His only begotten son to die for our redemption. This is the good news of the gospel.
1. Our God’s heart is full of compassion for sick.
Read Mark 1:40-41
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!”
2. Nature of our salvation is healing.
It was promised in the Old Testament and is fulfilled in the New Testament.
Read 1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”
3. Healing is for all
Read Matthew 4:23
Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
4. He has given us the authority over all sicknesses and disease
Read Matthew 10:1
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
Points to remember so that we receive healing without doubt
1. If you have Jesus in your heart there is no need to beg for it simply receive it. It is your bread.
Read Mark 7:27
First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
When the healing anointing comes, one can sense a deep sense of compassion in his spirit. The key to receive healing under the anointing is to relax, stop speaking in tongues and letting the anointing gently flow into you. You may feel a warm or burning sensation, peace or joy in your spirit.
God wants to heal everyone.
Prayer- Father God in the name of Jesus, you alone are worthy , you alone are our healer, we thank you because you have done it at the cross. Your body was broken for our sins so that we can receive healing. Thank you Jesus we declare that by your stripes we were healed.
Amen
