Jesus came to set you Free

Word of God has a great deal to say about blessings and curses. If we remain ignorant it will be at our own cost and we will miss the total provision that God has made for us through the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross. Blessings means -  favor, victory, success, productivity in every area, exaltation
Curses means - oppression, negative atmosphere, defeat, failure to reproduce, humiliation
How will you know if you are under curses?
There are mainly seven areas.
1 - Mental or emotional breakdown
2 - Repeated or chronic sickness, medically no diagnosis
3 - Repeated miscarriages, female related illness
4 - Marriage problems, separation etc.
5 - Financial insufficiency, jobless
6 - Accident prone
7 - Suicidal or unnatural deaths
You may ask -
- But why did these curses come upon me
- What did I do???
- Can someone tell me my mistakes???
Read Proverbs 26:2
"Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest."
Root cause of all curses is not obeying God's voice
1. Not obeying God's commands
Deuteronomy 28:15

"However, if you do not obey the LORD your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:"
2. Worshiping idol, false gods, or participating in occult practices
1 Samuel 15:23
"For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry.Because you have rejected the word of the LORD,he has rejected you as king.”
3. Not respecting your parents
Ephesians 6:1-3
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
4. Illicit or unnatural sex
5. Injustice to the weak
6. Trust in man
Jeremiah 17:5
"This is what the LORD says:“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,who draws strength from mere fleshand whose heart turns away from the LORD."
7. Failure to fulfill promises
Ecclesiastes 5:4-5
4 When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. 5 It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.
8. Being stingy towards God
Malachi 3:8-10
8 “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.“But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’“In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
9. Spoken words said by people in authority.
10. Self-imposed curses.
11. Curses from people representing satan.
12. Soulish prayers, utterances & gossip
13. Generational curses
Exodus 20:1-6
1 And God spoke all these words:2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.3 “You shall have no other gods before[a] me.4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
The good news is Jesus has paid the price for you and me.
Galatians 3:13-14
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[a] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
How to be free from curses?
1. Put your trust in the word
1 John 3:8
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
2. Be obedient to God's word
Deuteronomy 28:1-2
1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
3. Confess your and your parent's and forefather's sins.
4. Forgive every person
5. Renounce all contact with other gods.
Deuteronomy 7:25-26
The images of their gods you are to burn in the fire. Do not covet the silver and gold on them, and do not take it for yourselves, or you will be ensnared by it, for it is detestable to the LORD your God. 26 Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction. Regard it as vile and utterly detest it, for it is set apart for destruction.
6. Release yourself in the name of Jesus
Matthew 18:18
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Now pray and be free as per Galatians 3:13-14
13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
Amen

The Lord is saying, "Fear Not!"

Walking in fear as a child of God is a great disappointment to our father God. He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and sound mind.
Read 2 Timothy 1:7
"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."
God has given us everything. All it takes of us is to dominate and overcome.
Read 1 John 4:4
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." And has equipped us for battle
Read Ephesians 2:6
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,"
As a child of God, God has given every power and authority to subdue the enemy. There is a need for you to discover your position in Christ.
You have to abide in Christ and exercise power and authority given to you. There is no way the devil (principalities and the powers of darkness) can touch you.
You need to know: -
1. Who you are in Christ
2. Where are you seated with Jesus.
Say - I am a child of God and seated in the heavenly  realm with Christ Jesus.
The Lord is saying 'Fear not!'
Fear is a weapon of the enemy.
Fear becomes a gate for the enemy to get access into our lives.
Fear is one of the weapons of witchcraft.
It brings confusion and no peace.
Read 2 Kings 9:22
'When Joram saw Jehu he asked, “Have you come in peace, Jehu?”
“How can there be peace,” Jehu replied, “as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?”'
Say - I will not open the door for fear to come in. I open the door of my heart for Jesus to come in.
Read Revelation 3:20
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me."
Now Christ is in your heart and He is greater that the devil, who is in the world.
Say - The Lord is saying 'Fear Not!'
1. You are a child of God.
Read John 1:12
"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—"
2. You are the apple of God's eyes.
Read Deuteronomy 32:10
"In a desert land he found him,
in a barren and howling waste.
He shielded him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,"
3. You are an over-comer.
Read 1 John 4:4
"You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."
4. God favors you.
Read Romans 8:31
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
So what are you going to do?
Say - Pursue peace!
Say - The Lord is saying fear not!
You must know that the agenda of the devil is to make you sin. Thus sin becomes a gate.
Avoid physical confrontation.
The battle is not physical but spiritual.
Sin will not allow the peace of God to rule over you.
So what must you do?
1. Initiate reconciliation to the best of your ability.
2. Do not turn your anger to wrath.
3. Do not quarrel or argue.
4. Love your enemy. (The devil uses family members or people around you to go against you.
Say - Pursue peace!
Say - The Lord is saying fear not!
5. Be tolerant and have wisdom of God.
Read Job 20:4-5
“Surely you know how it has been from of old, ever since mankind was placed on the earth, that the mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment."
6. Ask the grace of God to be upon you. Do not be tempted to react in the flesh. It is a spiritual fight.
7. Pray for everything it will paralyze the demonic activities.
8. Don't rush to speak unnecessarily.
Read Micah 7:5
Do not trust a neighbor; put no confidence in a friend. Even with the
woman who lies in your embrace guard the words of your lips."
Father in the name of Jesus.
I release the fire of God against the spirit of fear. I believe Jesus
lives in me always.
Amen.

Allow God to Work

We have all been hurt at some point or another in our lives. we need to understand that coming to Jesus is only the beginning of our healing. It does not heal our wounds automatically. There is a process, it begins with forgiveness.
What is forgiveness?
It is an action of your choice.
Who will make it?
You for your life and I for my life
Read Matthew 18:35
"This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
And it is a command from your Lord!
Read Matthew 6:14
"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Then why not abolish the root of the unforgiveness
Good thought!
What is the root of most hurts?
Insecurity and immaturity
Say - I am secure in Christ
Say - I am growing to the maturity
What will happen if you will not forgive?
Read Matthew 6:14
"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."
Enemy gets access to enter in our lives and destroys our homes, finances health and the other areas.
Read Ephesians 4:27
" and do not give the devil a foothold."
Our prayer will not reach unto God.
Read Matthew 11:25
"At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children."
God will not accept our offering.
Read Matthew 5:23
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you,"
Demons will torture us.
Read Matthew 18:35
“This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”
Faith is annulled and their is a lack of forgiveness which blocks our heart from believing in Him.
Love is annulled.
A spouse may say - I don't love you and can look for false refuge in a love affair.
The person who does not forgive will always suffer great loss and great pain will be afflicted upon that person.
Lack of forgiveness causes bitterness and that will devour the person.
Check - Where do you stand?
Do you want to come under the mercy of God?
Do you want the love of God to flow in you?
If you are ready;
Say - I make a choice to forgive others no matter how much they have troubled me!
Say - I forgive them because I want the grace of God in my life.
Say - I forgive them because I want the peace of God in my life.
Say - I forgive them because I want the healing of God in my life.
Do you have a question on what you must do?
Here is the answer -
1. Make a list of all the people that have hurt you.
2. Repent, forgive and release them unto God.
Say - Jesus I have nothing to do with the past hurt.
Read Ephesians 4:31.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
3. Confess or express your mistakes to each other if it is possible.
Read James 5:16
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
4. Renounce the spirit of resentment, bitterness, hate and unforgiveness.
Now Pray - Lord I forgive __________ (the person) because of ____________(the reason why you are forgiving them).
Lord I present all these people to you and I surrender my life unto you.
Lord I choose not to be bitter or angry anymore.
Lord I ask the Holy Spirit to heal me of my hurt feelings.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
We will all in one way or the other be hurt in our lives. What we must remember is to forgive and forget.
If we follow this principle we will mature in the things of God.

Salvation Is A Process

When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior -
-we become a new creation
-we become a child of God
-we become more than a conqueror
-we became head not the tail
-we become citizen of heaven, it means when we die we will go directly to heaven.
But someone may ask a question if we are so blessed that we are even citizen of heaven then-
-why do we still struggle
-why do we have problems
-why are we in bondage
-why are we bitter
-why are we in lack
The reason is that our spirit has been born again, but our soul needs to be renewed and transformed.
Renewal of the mind and transformation takes time.
it means it is a process
Say - It is a process
In order to understand the process of transformation of mind we must know who we are!!
Man is a spirit with a soul and lives in a physical body. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior our spirit becomes alive
Read John 3:3-6
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
When you are born again your spirit becomes alive and the spiritual nature of yours gives you the ability to communicate with God
Read Proverbs 20:27
The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.
What is the inner depths of his heart?
say- communion, inner voice and The conscience
1. Communion-through communion we develop intimacy with God, it means you can talk to Him and hear from Him
2. Inner Voice- Read Romans 8:14-16
For as many as are led by the spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry "Abba Father" The spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
Inner voice gives us understanding of belonging of Father God.
3. The conscience - Read Romans 9:1
I tell the truth i am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit.
It allows us to distinguish between right and wrong.
When we are born again the work of Christ in our spirit is perfected, but our soul does not change.
Read Philippians 2:12
Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
so we are asked to be transformed by the renewal of our mind that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2)
Many people have wounds and hurt, and wrong desires, when they receive Jesus they are given a new heart but mind (soul) is still under bondage. The soul needs inner healing and deliverance from the unsolved issues of emotional hurts and wounds, sickness and pains.
what should we do?
1. Surrender unto the Lord
Read James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
2. Renounce
In order to get freedom you have to renounce-
-your previous involvement with different ritual practices, false religion or teachings
-your previous involvement with different groups which denies Jesus Christ, secret initiation, ceremonies or covenants
-your previous involvement with different activities which you did knowingly or unknowingly
-ask God to reveal those ungodly ties so that you can confess and separate yourself with those activities
Remember these activities and involvements gave the devil a foothold in your life now you have to reverse it by your confession
3. Put off your will
Ephesians 4:22-24
You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
4. Get rid of
Ephesians 4:31
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Pray-
I recognize that there is only one true and living God who exists as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah, the Word who became in flesh and dwelt among us.
I believe that He  came to destroy the works of Satan
I believe that God has proven His love for me because when I was still a sinner, Christ died for me.
I believe that He delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to His kingdom, and in Him I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
I believe that I am now a child of God and that I am seated with Christ in the heavenlies.
I announce to Satan that Jesus is my Lord and I reject works of Satan in my life.
I believe that the truth will set me free, therefore, I stand against Satan's deception by taking every thought captive in obedience to Christ.
I renew my mind by the living Word of God in order that I may prove that the will of God is good, acceptable and perfect.
I renounce all selfish goals and choose the ultimate goal of  love.
I choose to obey the two greatest commandments, to love the Lord my God with all my heart, soul and mind, and to love my neighbor as myself
I believe that Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth and that He is the head over all rulers and     authority.
I believe that Satan and his demons are subject to me in Christ since I am a member of Christ's body. Therefore, I obey the command to resist the devil and command him in the name of Christ to leave my presence.
I declare I am free because whom the son sets free is free indeed.
Amen
